CCC Social Worker Meeting with Connections Consulting Pty Ltd

CCC is the acronym used by Christian City Care Whitehorse.

I met both Tony Ryan and Frank Greco outside the offices of Christian City Care in Box Hill at 9:45am Wednesday the 27/10/2004 and we all proceeded to Box Hill Central for coffee. After usual breaking of the ice chit chat, Frank Greco ask if I could develop online shopping carts and payment gateways, to which I said "Yes".

At this point Frank Greco offered me the following work:
I'd receive $200 for setting up the payment gateway. The shopping cart was a basic project that should only take 4 days to complete. What would I accept as payment? Before I could say anything Tony Ryan interjected and said "he'll do it for nothing, you can give him office space and use of office facilities to allow him to get his web development business on its feet again".

Thinking that I was fortunate to be in a position to at least get a foot in the door and having access to a computer, internet and office use, I decided to accept the deal.

The next day I began work at Connections Consulting Pty Ltd situated at suite 207, 620 St Kilda Road Melbourne Victoria. I was given a small brief on what was required for the Coffee Hit online shopping cart, I expected based on this information that I should have a working model finished by Tuesday the 2'nd of November 2004.

On the Tuesday I had a working model of the shopping cart for Coffee Hit and showed this to Frank Greco. Although he was pleased he then produced a project brief that resembled the Magna carta. This transformed the very basic shopping cart I had orginally been told was required, into a space trolley with titanium rocket boosters.

At that point I asked "why was I not told about this from day one? This is certainly not a basis shopping cart! The entire Microsoft Development Team could not have a working model based on these specs completed in four days.

I was then asked how long then? I said with only myself working on the project I may have it finished in 3 months. I then said what about payment for my work on this project now? He said ask Tony Ryan he'll take care of things for you.

If I can interrupt for a moment... At the point where I'm met Tony Ryan the social worker for Christian City Care Whitehorse I'd been very sick and was in an ongoing
vulnerable situation. I had no family to take care of me, I was alone. I placed all my trust and faith in Tony Ryan believing that a Welfare organisation like Christian City Care Whitehorse would hold the welfare of its clients and the intentions of its employees honourable towards the safety and well being of their clients.

After leaving the offices of Connections Consulting Pty Ltd I contacted Tony Ryan about being paid for the updated shopping cart brief. I was told don't worry about it, I'll take care of it. Frank will pay you, don't worry.
